African Nigeria Yoruba oshe Shango wand with supplicant female kneeling with hands at abdomen.

It features a slender profile with a second head protruding from the celt, above the figure's head, which appears to wearing eyeglasses.

A portion of the figure has been blacked out on the thumbnail for the sake of modesty.

Acquired in 1992 from African source, Moissie Sissoko. Maker once known. Age estimated by the source as ca.1980s.
