Africa Nigeria Yoruba oshe Shango Wand.

This Shango wand features a male, nude, with prominent genitalia, holding what appears to be a fly whisk in his right hand and a sacrificial offering in his left hand. It features a celt with 6 inscribed cowrie shell designs on front and verso.
Lucite custom display stand included .Please note some damage from normal use at the base of the handle. Acquired in 1991 from African associate Moissie Sissoko. Age estimated by the source as ca.19th Century, which cannot be pinpointed.
