African Ceremonial Mask, classic Dan style with oval eyes.
Impressive in its simplicity.
Ribbons of striped fabric material on each side - probably hand-loomed native cotton. Numerous irregularly sized and shaped holes around perimeter for holding raffia and fabric when danced.
ca. late 20th Century. Maker once known.
