A powerful ceremonial mask of six eyes, painted wood face, raffia head dress, open mouth. From Africa’s Dan tribe, located in western Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast). Age unknown, estimated at ca. 1975. Maker once known. Acquired in 2004 from Hamidu Sellah, a trusted importer of African tribal artifacts with whom we have a longstanding relationship. 11" high x 7" 20 wide. #AGDE79
