Wood dance staff with sickle-like metal blade secured to haft. Carving on the haft at point where the "blade" is secured.

It's similarity in appearance to a weapon suggests it also may have had purposes in battle or symbolized martial power.
This object was said to be carried over a shoulder cradling the "blade" and haft.
21" tall x .62" wide, blade is 12" long #F180

Age unknown, acquired in 1996 from Abdoul Sellah, a trusted African agent.
