This Shango wand features a supplicant female, kneeling and offering her attenuated breasts. It is particularly well carved with a nice patina.

Acquired in 2000 from African associate, Abdoul Keita. Maker once known. Age estimated by the source as ca.1970s.
Shows significant age cracking on the torso front and handle..
