Fiona was born 1973 in Tiwi. She left school in 1988 to work at Nguiu Adult Education Centre, before joining Minupi Arts & Crafts. She participated in the Canberra printmaking workshop held in 1991.
As of this writing, Fiona was completing her Certificate II in Arts and Crafts with Batchelor College. Her partner is Declan Apuatimi, son of the renowned Declan Snr and Jean Baptiste Apuatimi.
