Australian hybrid pottery vase, globular with a narrow upright opening and painted with traditional dot patterns and iconography, including honey ants. The vase was fired at non-Aboriginal studio, Walkabout, in Alice Springs, then painted by an indigenous woman according to her native inspiration. ca. 1993.

This is not a pure Aboriginal product and we do not represent it as such. It is a collaboration, which began with molding and firing in a non-Aboriginal pottery studio named Walkabout. Then it was painted by an indigenous Aboriginal woman in accordance with her cultural tradition and personal inspiration. It is a beautiful example of the dot technique on a pottery item.
