Artist's signature is underneath crossbar. Acquired in Adelaide, SA in 2001. Michael Tjakamarra was born ca1963, the son of Johnny Warangkula. He lives in Mt. Liebig, west of Alice Springs, NT. This work depicts his home country as he recalls it.
