Worimi traditional lands are north of Sydney, an area of abundance of lakes and called the Great Lakes. Because it was near early urban settlements of British settlers, the art reflects European influences, such as the graphic elements in this nature-lover's depiction.
We acquired this almost vintage authentic work of Australian indigenous Aboriginal art at Tobwabba Gallery in Adelaide, South Australia in September 2001.
